Recreational Scuba Diving

Learning to Scuba Dive is an undertaking of adventure seeking and one of surreal enjoyment as you explore the underwater world. That is why Closed in Cozumel values in depth training whether you are a first time diver or continuing your education in advanced diving courses or pursuing technical diving instruction. Your education and safety is our number one priority.

We do not believe in the weekend special offering type of course. We do not believe in minimum class sizes of 8 and in fact prefer the one on one attention that we can provide using the best equipment on the market (Atomic Regulators). Staying true to our philosophy we have chosen International Diving Educators Association (IDEA) as our sport diving recreational agency. There are several training agencies available to become certified with, but it is always important to remember “the biggest does not necessarily mean the best”.

Rebreather Training

Rebreather diving is not just for the hardcore military diver, but in fact equipment is beign designed with the creational diver in mind. MDEA International is the Frog Mark I training agency located in Marathon, Floridia. Training levels start with Sport Diver, Technical Diver (using Trimex, Nitrox & Heliox) and ultimatley to commercial diver.
